Thank you for choosing California Coach. It is extremely important to read the following terms & conditions carefully before booking our school bus service:
Due to the limited number of seats, priority will be given to students requesting round trips.
For Early Childhood 1 (EC1) AM class, we only can provide Single Trip service to school in the morning, please contact us directly by email at californiacoach@ais.edu.hk or by phone at (852) 2836 9922.
Families wishing for one-way service should forward their request by email to californiacoach@ais.edu.hk
One-way service requests will not be processed until all round trip requests have been serviced.
Bus schedules are tentative and subject to change according to applications. We reserve the right to cancel any route if applications are insufficient.
We do not provide door-to-door service.
Routes will not be changed once set. New students will need to be brought to an existing Bus Pick-Up and Drop-Off Point.
No reduction in bus fees will be made for any absences. For example, if your child was absent from school for one day, our bus will not be able to fill that seat with another child to cover it’s operating cost.
Any changes of pick-up/drop-off point (eg. moving home) is subject to availability.
2 weeks advance written notice must be sent to California Coach Limited at californiacoach@ais.edu.hk
If your child(ren) no longer require our bus services, please kindly notify us 3 months in advance from the effective date of termination of service. A prorated refund may be requested upon submission of a written request to California Coach Limited, signed by the parent/guardian. Please note that no refunds will be processed unless 3 months written notice is provided.
Bus Mothers will contact parents one or two days ahead of boarding.
When using the California Coach school bus service, AIS students are expected to behave in an acceptable and responsible manner at all times. Students who do not behave appropriately will be reported to the school. Serious cases may result in suspension from the bus service. Refunds will be not be provided in such circumstances.
Should arrive at the designated bus stop 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
Students are required to stay seated in their assigned seat and fasten the seat belt for the entire journey.
Upon reaching their destinations, students are to remain seated with fastening their seat-belts until the bus comes to a complete stop.
Should place their bags and other personal belongings under the bus seats; no items should obstruct the aisle or another passenger’s seat. Light backpacks may be hung behind the seat. Personal property left on California Coach buses will be delivered to the AIS Office.
Please look after your personal belongings and valuables. The bus company shall not be held responsible for the loss of your belongings.
Students are to be courteous to the bus drivers, bus mothers and fellow students.
Obscene language and fighting is strictly prohibited on the bus.
No interfering with the bus driver, bus mother or bus equipment is allowed.
Are requested to remain quiet on the bus and avoid any behavior that may distract or disturb the bus driver or others.
Eating and drinking are prohibited on the bus.
Should avoid playing with any sharp objects - including pencils, rulers, and recorders - during the journey.
Should not lean on or push against the bus windows.
Are not recommended to use laptops, mobile phones, and other electronic devices on the bus. California Coach is not be responsible for any damages.
Must follow the directions of the Bus Mother, the Bus Driver, or any other responsible adult(s) in the case of an emergency.
Anyone who breaks the above rules shall be reported to the AIS Office.
Repeated offences will result in a suspension of bus privileges and NO REFUNDS will be provided.
Your child will not be permitted on the bus unless all fees and documents have been submitted.
You cannot choose which seats for your child(ren) will sit on.
You are not permitted to ride the school bus together with your child and other AIS students.
In order for children to arrive at school and return home on time, please ensure your child gets on the bus punctually.
The designated adult accompanying your child in the morning must ensure the child has boarded the bus at their designated Bus Stop before leaving.
If, for whatever reason, your child misses the bus in the morning, it is your responsibility to take them to school.
If your child is to be picked up by a designated adult at the Bus Drop-Off Point after school, please make sure the designated adult waits at the Bus Drop-Off Point and presents the pick up card(s) to the Bus Mother when picking up the student(s).
If, for whatever reason, the designated adult is not waiting at the Bus Drop-Off Point when the school bus arrives, the student will be brought back to AIS for parental collection.
You must inform the Bus Mother, California Coach and AIS on any occasion that your child will not be travelling on the bus.
You should advise the Bus Mother and California Coach if your child is attending an after-school activity and therefore will not be taking the bus on a particular day.
You are liable for any damage to our buses caused by your child.
