California Coach Limited (CC) would like to invite AIS families to arrange school bus bookings now. Due to the limited seating capacity on our buses, requests for the school bus service will be entertained on a first come first serve basis.
Priority will be given to the students requesting round trips.
Families wishing a one-way service should forward their request by email to our customer service staffs at californiacoach@ais.edu.hk
One-way service requests will be processed after all round-trip requests have been serviced.

All bookings will only be confirmed after the full amount of the payment is received by CC.
Upon receipt of the payment, an official receipt will be sent to the AIS student and family email address as a confirmation. If for a particular reason the seat cannot be confirmed, an email will be sent to advise the family of the situation and the refund will be made accordingly.

We were informed of a preliminary case of COVID-19 infection concerning a student from Bus 7. The student last attended bus on 12 August and reported test positive on 13 August.
We have conducted a thorough disinfection and cleaning of the bus concerned. We have also notified the parents and students on the related bus who might have close contacts with the infected student.
California Coach will continue to monitor and set up health and safety measures as necessary.

California Coach is happy to inform you that school bus services will be resumed on 20 April, 2022. The Chief Executive has announced that all students and teachers will be required to take daily rapid Covid-19 tests before school. To follow the new policy, our drivers, bus mothers and staff will undergo the daily test accordingly.
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students is our top priority which rely on the hard work of both the students and our staff. ALL STUDENTS are requested to show their daily test result (the RAT kit box) to the bus mothers before boarding school buses WITHOUT ANY EXCEPTION. The Education Bureau has announced on January 27 that since the epidemic situation is still severe, all kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools (including schools offering non-local curriculum) will extend the existing arrangements on suspension of face-to face classes and on-campus activities until February 21.

The Education Bureau (EDB) has announced on February 3 that the arrangements of face-to-face classes for all kindergartens, primary and secondary schools after the schools' Chinese New Year holidays.
EDB has decided that all kindergartens, primary and secondary schools will be allowed to arrange more students to return to campuses on a half-day basis in accordance with school-based arrangements after the schools' Chinese New Year's holidays, with the number of students capped at one-third of the total number of students. Dear California Coach Families,
With the upcoming resumption of school, the advise of CHP, and to protect our student from the Coronavirus, California Coach will be implementing a series of contingency and precautionary measures during the ride of our school bus:
All students are required to wear surgical mask before boarding the school bus, as well as during the entire journey on the school bus.
When boarding the school bus all students are required to sanitize their hands using the alcohol sanitizer-gel provided on the school bus.
When boarding the school bus, Bus Mother will scan students with a forehead scan thermometer. In the case of student with the below conditions, student will be asked to return home without boarding the school bus and to seek medical attention:
Fever (body temperature at or higher than 37.5°C), regardless of the presence of acute respiratory tract infection symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath;
No fever but with the presence of acute respiratory tract infection symptoms.
The above procedure will be strictly adhered to by our school bus staff; therefore, boarding the school bus might require more time and effort than usual, please be reminded to arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes before the pick-up time.

This notice is part of our commitment to keep you up to date with what we are doing to ensure the continued welfare of our students and staff. We are fully aware of the current disease control measures set out by the Hong Kong government and are undertaking extreme levels of health and safety procedures to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained, throughout our buses.
In light of the EDB’s class suspension, since 3 February, California Coach has kept our buses and all staff on stand by, eager to resume school services. However, we understand that this is an especially hard time for everyone within our community. Therefore, California Coach will offer a concession of 25% bus fee refund on suspended school days to each bus riding student. Details of refund and procedure will be announced once the EDB confirms the resumption date of schools. Meanwhile, everyone at California Coach continues to standby while caring for our buses to ensure prime hygiene conditions are ready for school.
